With over 35 years experience, my design journey started in Miami where I worked as a kitchen designer and a custom wood manufacturer. Later on, my passion for design led me to the furniture industry where I worked with companies like Ethan Allen, mastering the art of quality craftsmanship, furniture placement, and client experience.
Organizing is a personal trait (obsession) that I apply to all my work. I love retrofitting kitchens, arranging furniture, and laying art/picture galleries.
- I particularly enjoy coaching the DIY enthusiasts.
- I am a member of ARC (Austin Relocation Council)
- I collaborate with ShelfGenie (retrofitters)
It all starts with my visit to your home when we discuss your needs and wants, space and budget. Some rooms might require light rearranging while others might need a complete overhaul. We can cover all areas of the home including the outdoor.
Once the initial assessment is done the optimization plan starts. I measure, I draw, I source, I propose, you pick. Designing a room might involve more than furniture selections like paint colors, wall paper, lighting, window treatments...... new flooring?
The process of collaboration varies from one person to the next. Some might need a helping hand all throughout the project while others just need help mapping the idea but prefer to do the execution themselves. (2 hour consultations/min.)
